Bintang ‘Arasy Session: Midnight Show di Stabat dan Rehat di Masjid Bingai Langkat

Midnight Show di Stabat

Kali ini kembali diundang ke Stabat, Kabupaten Langkat, Sumatera Utara. Adik-adik Himpunan Mahasiswa Islam (HMI) mengadakan Intermediate Training, latihan kader dan pengembangan diri tingkat menengah. Acaranya keren sekali.

Midnight Show in Stabat

Awalnya diagendakan untuk memberi materi pada Jumat, 14 November 2025, pukul 20.00-23.00 Wib. Tapi tidak terkejar. Gara-gara ‘Superdelay’ Air Jet, yang harusnya terbang jam 16.45 Wib dari Banda Aceh ke Kualanamu Medan diundur ke 20.30 Wib. Sedangkan dari Kualanamu ke Langkat masih membutuhkan waktu tambahan sekitar 1 jam.

Dijemput oleh Lionel Alfi Syahrin (Ketum Cabang) dan Rezeki Arinanda (instruktur pelatihan) mobil pinjaman dari Pemda Langkat melaju di jalan Tol Medan-Stabat. Tepat jam 23.00 Wib kami tiba di gedung PKK Stabat.

Pemasangan “Mahkota” Tanjak Melayu oleh Peserta

Tanpa istirahat, show tengah malam langsung dimulai. Tak terasa, waktu berjalan cepat. Jam sudah menunjukkan pukul 2 dini hari. Selama tiga jam, peserta tak berhenti bertanya. Mereka bahkan siap untuk lanjut sampai subuh. Tema-tema leadership dan spiritualitas memicu daya nalar dan antusiasme 37 mahasiswa yang datang dari berbagai kota di Sumatera.

Setelah materi utama selesai, kami diajak ke Warkop Alam Kupie Stabat. Disana, diskusi dengan instruktur, pengurus cabang dan panitia berlanjut sampai subuh. Semangat intelektualisme mereka tinggi sekali. Bakal jadi orang hebat semua mereka ini.

Dukungan Penuh Alumni

Ada kisah unik juga terkait pembiayaan kegiatan mahasiswa Islam ini. Makan peserta, panitia dan instruktur selama 7 hari misalnya, setiap waktu sebanyak 70 bungkus, ditanggung langsung oleh satu orang Ketua Umum KAHMI Langkat. Namanya Suhendro, mantan sekretaris umum HMI Cabang Langkat. Awalnya Alvi sebagai ketua cabang hanya minta ditanggung satu atau dua kali makan saja. Tapi sang alumni ini nanya, “kenapa gak semuanya saja?”

Suhendro ini pengusaha “kripik cinta”. Juga peternak. Tinggalnya di Gebang. Sangat dermawan. Sudah tiga tahun ia punya dapur umum untuk masyarakat dan musafir yang melintasi jalan Banda Aceh-Medan. Siapapun boleh makan. Dibuka 24 jam. Gratis.

Ia punya tenaga kerja ratusan orang yang terlibat dalam pengelolaan usahanya. Kalau ada mahasiswa yang bekerja di tempat dia, uang kuliahnya turut ia bantu bayarkan.

Jiwa wirausaha sosialnya sangat kuat. Ia pernah jadi ketua umum komisariat. Sejak di kampus dulu, ia sudah jual keripik ke kelas-kelas. Kini ia telah menjadi pengusaha sukses. Kepeduliannya kepada perwujudan masyarakat yang adil dan makmur tinggi sekali.

Berkunjung ke Masjid Kuno di Bingai

Esok hari, setelah makan siang, kami diajak Rezeki Arinanda ke Bingai. Ikut hadir menemani, Safitri, bendahara panitia.

Di kelurahan Bingai Kecamatan Wampu terdapat sebuah masjid kuno, bernama Masjid Jaya Arrahman. Berdiri 250 tahun silam. Tepatnya pada 1775 Masehi.

Pendirinya adalah Tuanku Raja Wan Desan, anak Tuanku Raja Wan Jabbar -raja pertama Bingai. Menurut orang setempat Wan Jabbar berasal dari Yaman. Hadir ke sana untuk menyebarkan Islam. Jika memang demikian, maka Islam sudah masuk ke Langkat khususnya Bingai sejak abad 16 Masehi. Makamnya, beserta beberapa anak turunannya terletak di depan masjid.

Di Langkat ada beberapa masjid kuno. Seperti Masjid Azizi Tanjungpura yang didirikan pada 1902. Lalu ada masjid Raya Stabat, didirikan pada 1904. Juga Masjid Raya Selesai, berdiri tahun 1906 dan Masjid Aziziah Secanggang, selesai dibangun pada 1908.

Dilihat dari tahun pendiriannya, Masjid Raya Arrahman Bingai jauh lebih tua dari lainnya. Namun keberadaan situs relijius ini tidak sepopuler yang lain. Padahal, di satu sisi, Bingai adalah kerajaan yang lebih tua dari Kesultanan Langkat. Kejuruan ini wilayahnya berbatasan dengan Kesultanan Aceh dan Kesultanan Deli. Namun Bingai saat ini statusnya hanya nama sebuah kelurahan di Langkat.

Masjid ini sendiri terletak di pinggir sungai Wampu. Jaraknya sekitar 15 km masuk ke dalam, atau 30 menit dari Stabat. Mengambil bentuk rumah panggung, berwarna kuning khas Melayu, masjid ini masih menyisakan fondasi lama. Tanpa paku. Hanya memakai pasak pengait antar struktur. Kayu-kayu bangunannya dulu di datangkan dari Malaysia melalui melalui sungai Wampu.

Di masjid ini kami melaksanakan beberapa rakaat sholat sunat, duhur juga ashar. Kami juga berziarah ke makam Tuanku Raja Wan Jabbar, raja pertama, pendiri wilayah tersebut. Makamnya ada di depan masjid. Disini kami juga berdoa agar ekonomi masyarakatnya semakin maju, serta warisan spiritual mereka terus mengilhami jiwa warganya.
